The Crown and Goose
The regular lunch and dinner menus put a modern twist on global dishes along with traditional pub food favourites – from game stews to home made pies – alongside gutsy takes on Asian or French classics. Even meat lovers will be tempted by the Goose’s vegetarian options and they’ve got great puddings too.
The £8 lunch menu is great value for money, served Monday – Friday. The regular lunch crowd say it’s the best value for money in any Camden bar, pub or restaurant.
On Sunday tuck into one of the Goose’s famous Sunday Roast lunches – beef, pork, chicken, lamb or mushroom wellington all served up with roast potatoes, braised red cabbage, seasonal vegetables, and their own proper gravy.
The Monarch
Good pub food and reasonable prices all day and evening, with seasonal menu changes and a selection of tapas. For those less hungry there’s a range of light bites including baked potatoes and toasties.
The Camden Head
Pub food at The Camden Head is simple and very good value.
In addition to an a la carte menu they have daily specials featuring English pub grub. Think sandwiches on fresh farmhouse bread (we recommend the fish finger and salt beef options), jacket potatoes, burgers, bangers, mash and chips.
The Abbey Tavern
The Abbey’s kitchen serves traditional English pub food alongside Caribbean dishes such as jerk chicken & seafood alternatives, cooked fresh daily. Their Sunday roasts are also hugely popular.
